Exploding Kittens is probably the most successful Kickstarter campaign ever launched. It's a family-or-friends oriented game based on a random chance of just losing - with players doing everything in their power to force other people to draw an exploding kitten and lose. It received a tremendous funding due to a variety of reasons:
