Tabletop simulator also allows authors to create their own games by importing art assets, 3D models, boards, tokens and even sound effects. This way, a player can host a play-testing session by inviting other people to play with him over the internet.

I have programmed Spellbook: Trading Card Game as a game modification in Tabletop Simulator, allowing other people to play the game and give me feedback over the internet.

It is all due to the Covid-19 social distancing law. It's not ideal, but it's the next best thing.
