Home page design

I have experimented with different home page designs and I chose the colorful illustrated one to draw the attention and give a feeling of a grand new project.

After tedious experimentation with different layouts and artworks for the background of the home page I have finally ended up with a design that satisfies me. A colourful illustration depicting some more powerful characters from the game, in shades of orange and purple adds a nice contrast to the minimalist design used across the rest of the website.

It also makes the logo stand out better, which is an important part of readability.
