Competitor: Magic: The Gathering

Magic the Gathering is my main competitor. It's an oldest trading card game currently available on the market, with the biggest playerbase of them all. Their marketing is on point - with people hosting events all around the world, gathering to play the game together.

Their downsides is the fact that cards come only in random booster packs, meaning a marketplace exists, where some cards are so rare that they cost up to a hundred thousand pounds.

On top of that, every year a new revised collection of cards get released, rendering most of the previously owned cards outdated - forcing people to buy the new collection to keep playing.
